Mood: Counting the days, and we're almost there

[*] posted on 4-12-2016 at 02:29 PM

Is that a question?
Why is that even a question?
If I had a day good enough to buggy, even a marginal day, I'd have a kite up. (Unfortunately, VA Beach is about 600 miles away, but you know my thoughts are there.)
Buggy on! :wee:

Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

Im about 2 hours from weldngod's spot Sean. When your company has 24-7 service contracts with WalMart, its next to impossible to take off work. I only get two weeks vaca. One is at JIBE, and the other is October killing deer. Lol

That's nice it's semi close. I'm 12 hours to any beach. I think I've only been to the beach 10 times or less my whole life.

whoa, I forgot you have a Montana. Have you flown it much? Seems like that would be a nice show stopper if the winds were right at some of the kite festivals you attend

Only a few times in very light winds.. I don't have a harness so I use a strap.. I fly it carefully since I'm not a depower guy and I've only had it up in the air a few times and never as an engine yet..

The 8M Toxic makes a great showstopper.. I'd still rather fly fixed bridle any day of the week..
