Since it looks like the shipwreck run for a pennant is out this year, how about a relay run?

Here's what I have come up with so far:

We stage at buggy camp with teams of 2 or 4. The first rider puts on a pink skirt and sets sail for the big water tower. Sail all the way down, turn around and head for a landmark north of buggy camp. Turn around again, sail back to buggy camp, land your kite, secure it, remove the skirt, and tag your teammate in. Rinse repeat.

First team to complete say 20-40 miles wins.

I haven't thought of what we can use for prizes but just the start of an idea here.

Doesn't hafta be a race, could just keep times for each team, or two teams at a time, then at the end of the week best time wins?
