A bloody big kite :D

First, find a school & get some lessons. Buy a $10 stunt kite & learn to control it well then get some more lessons before you decide on what kind of kite or board you want.

Snowkiting is apparently a great way to train for waterkiting. I'm starting off with a mountain board type setup.

I'm 6'2 & almost 300lbs. A 15m² in a decent breeze hauled me outa the water like superman & my 5m² ram air can pull me a couple of meters into the sky if I work it right.

Power is not the problem :) controlling it is
