Really Antsy
Chomping at the bit.
Loading the car in my mind.
Making lists.
Checking gear.
Daydreaming, escaping during the day.
Wondering (but not worrying) about the weather.
Almost time.
Going to have chdk installed on my canon powershot, with a timelapse script. Should be able to get some time lapse photography of the lake bed (all
the kites and buggies coming and going) and of any clouds moving over the mountains.
Travel safe everyone

Yea, This is the week of no sleep. Wanting, waiting,Wondering. Hurry up and get here. I can't take it any more. This is my once a year trip so I am
Stoked!! It is already going to be an adventure. Most all the nor-cal crew
riding down in a van together.(wonder what we will talk about?) 5-6 buggys all the gear and suit cases. A couple cameras. Big ol kiter sleep over.It
is really cool for me because I never go with out my girl. but she has a work convention the same week in reno so she is happy. Me taking off with all
the guy's on a 5 day kiting adventure to Vegas with no guidence could get a little off the hook. So, Antsy is a good word for it!

With the weather the way it has been here, it looks like NABX will be the first chance I get to try my home build (well more accurately my first buggy
ride period.) SOOOOOOO stoked! Getting more kites while I'm there, too. Yeee-haw!

Be sure to come by the nor-cal group.(look 4 the flag) We would love to help you get going. See you there. Oh, and your first time in a buggy on the
playa? Your ruined for life. You might as well move there.

Here in Marin preparations are under way for a major assault on the Mojave Basin!
Today we will test fly on Ocean Beach just to make sure we know what we've forgotten! Should be some pretty good onshore wind, with the tide just
right, so look for us there if you are in the bay area.
Meanwhile, we tighten up our gear for the pre-event, and sure wonder how many peeps might be making the trip to Superior.
Let me know if you are going to be there next weekend.
We will stop by Elmers thursday evening, probably spend the night, then move on over for the weekend to Superior. Got to stop by lvtDave's tree,
don't you know.
aoxomoxoa soon!

Thanks for the offer- I'll take you up on that for sure! As for moving there, don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind. The endless 45 degrees
and rain we get in the Portland area drives me nuts.

I was in ';Vegas on Monday on other business (really!) and flew out Tuesday morning. The cabby said as I got into the car at dawn "Gee its really
windy out there". I thought "Dude, you don't know the half of it!" After take-off, as we climbed out and turned to head east, I could follow I-15
south with my eyes and see Ivanpah. Oh, what a tease.
totally stoked.
See all y'all next Tuesday...
