Mt. Tremblant Area

Heading up to Mt. Tremblant for a week of downhill riding at the end of February. Had this scheduled before I started snowkiting. Was thinking about taking my kites with me, but I have no idea what is available in the area.

Anyone live near Mt. Tremblant, or northern Montreal that knows the area and would know of good places to go? Thanks!

Lots of snowkite spots in Qc

click the link here and check the google map for our snowkite spots.

http://www.kitekonek.com/spots/

Near Tremblant, there is Lac Tremblant.

You can almost kite any frozen lakes.
Farms require permission.

There are many spots with facilities, kickers, ramps, jumps.

The most famous one is www.kiteproject.ca. they have moved their location on "Lac of 2 Mountains" in Kanatesake this year. About 30 freestylers riders every weekend going for big air jumps. Impressive to watch.

There is also provincial park OKA with facilities and lot of riders.

Lots of events in Feb and March, I can provide a list later

So YES bring your KITES.

We have lot of snow now, so bring your powder skis... and snow shoes.

Sweeet.. Yeah, i'll bring my two de-power kites. If I can afford to get a snowkite board, I'll have that with me too, otherwise, i'll have to bring one of my downhill boards. Awesome. Thanks for the information!
