On Cafepress they refer to them as beanies. However, the only beanies that come up are meant for babies/toddlers and made of cotton.

If you are looking for kite related winter headwear, you have offerings from:

Flexifoil:

Ozone:

and Peter Lynn (in several color options):

Now if the reason, you were perusing CafePress is because the thought of running into someone on the snow covered fields similarly attired haunts your days and leaves you drenched with sweat in the wee hours of the morning, then you might want to take another approach....

(Note: I would like the previous verbiage to be submitted for this year's competition for run on sentences  )

You might consider getting some Woolpower SE headwear (made in Sweden, but there are US and Canadian dealers). Their gear is available in black, medium blue, and a forest/moss green. Unlike some companies most of the branding is restricted to small edge-sewn tags that can be easily removed. I think the tags are limited to a small number that includes the company name, construction (70% merino wool, 30% polymides), and the name of the worker who sewed the item. They offer:

Standard Beanie/Toque (in 400 weight)

Helmet Cap which provides greater peripheral vision and neck coverage (in 400 weight)

Standard Balaclava (in 200 weight)

Extended Balaclava for greater coverage at the neck/jacket juncture with side relief cuts at the lower edge to prevent discomfort from bunching (in 400 weight)

Once you have "debadged" your chosen piece of headgear, you can take it to a local shop that specializes in team/sports attire and have them embroider it with whatever artwork you provide.

Hope that helps.

ATB,
Sam

Well, even though daytime temps are still comfortable in shorts and a T-Shirt, I heard a nasty rumour that Winter is on the way! and Folks are anxious for winter :wow:

'Sides... it's been a while since I have submitted a rambling, picture-filled post. ;)

I've also heard....
