where to landboard in sw michigan

can someone please tell me where i can landboard in the southwest michigan, i'm really hoping for HARD-PACKED sand.
i was also going to ask if a 3m traction kite is good for landboarding.

Check out some of the spots on the LocalKiteSpots.com Michigan map.

A 3m kite can work, depending on surface and wind conditions. A good size for most people to start with.
