I need help!


I want to get into kite surfing, but I dont even know where to start. I would like to get used geer so that it is cheeper, but I dont know what is good for me. I live in Michigan, so the winds arnt real strong. I would like a geer that is good for a beginner, but one that I wont have to upgrade rate away. Any info would be gr8.

I dont surf, but I do know a bit about power kites. The best thing you can do to learn to kitesurf is to take a course. Trying to learn on your own is very hard, even when you have the kite-flying and traction downpat. Save yourself a lot of frustration, and find someone else locally who already surfs, or a class that you can attend. The will also be the best source of information on equipment.
