New Sod Farm location in Nor Cal
Dlish and I found a sod farm that we worked a permission to fly on deal... we are going to try and get in good with the farm manager so we can
frequent this spot... all I can give in location information is pictures and as for now we must keep this top secret...

This photo only shows a 1/4 or less of the location...
Phenomenal is the only word I know to describe it...
Let us schmoose'em a lil more and then we still might be selfish with it and keep it all our own
Great day...

Flew good.
We tried before on a standard quad bar and it was horrible. I got a x-over bar from HQ and it flew great. I don't think it was as good as handles but
it was close. I need to adjust the brakes alittle and get some more time on it before my final judgement is in.

So how have your schmoozing efforts been going out there - anything we could help with? Does the location have any wind shadows or tumblers (tree
lines, etc...)? Keep in touch.

It's phenomenal... no tree lines... (some trees in the distance but not lined up, more spread out and far away) I'm unsure of what a wind
shadow/tumbler is... assuming that it dirties the wind I'd say no... The wind there was very clean the first time we went, the second time was high
wind day (25-30mph) and gusty, I think due to the high winds... was changing directions a lil also...
Dlish is doing a great job at schmooz'n and I got to get my schmooz'n on... we got permission to buggy last wed. and we'll get out there tomorrow and
maybe get some more schmooz'n in... I'm thinking of a fruit basket or a box of candy... any suggestions... Heck maybe I'll get them a photo of me in a
frame ... just
kidding, don't wanna get kicked out... I'm thinking down the road, if I can find out the beer they drink, I'll get'em a 24 pack (don't know if thats a
bad idea)...:puzzled:
Any ideas would be great...

How about a signed release of liability - which anyone that goes out there can sign. It takes the risk off their backs. A fruit basket and some
chocolates is a good idea too.

Do you have any or know where to find them? I talked to Dlish bout that also... but don't want scare them either... you'd have to approach them just
right to offer that one... It's defiantly a great gesture and be worth having them,:saint: at least for back up... I'm gonna bring that up with Dlish
again...

Oh, Maybe you can ask them if there is anything we could do for them? Any kind of card or basket always says thank you also. I am in for whatever they
want just let me know because spots to fly like that are priceless. It would be nice to know when they harvest the sod also. Is there other fields
around there? or just that main one? Reason I ask is because the farm in Davis they pretty much leave the field we fly in until last. Thats cool. It
is nice if they keep it mowed. because if it get to thick it slows you down alot. also may want to know when they do that it would sux to plan a day
and get there and have them working. Maybe get a # to call before you go out. That may be too much. Ask about some do and dont's too. That couldn't
hurt.
