Tricky wind advice needed

I live in NJ, the northeast quadrant
and most land places for kiting have their own low
percentage of authourities or landowners
who say no,
well one place ,Overpeck, is blessed with a 0%
denial record .
Its the size of 4-6 soccerfields prevailing winds
come across rt80 and a body of water wider than either of
the feilds sides
trouble is that there is a 15 foot drop that the wind ramps
up on before it hits the field
I never noticed how gusty the place is until
I switched from 4line2handles
to Depower Frenzy
now,... I never have fun there

Do I Need To give up on the place?
is there something about wind that hits
such obstacles ONLY unruly?

Frenzy, Shockwave, Speed2
Ground Industries
Liq Force, Dakine, LibTech

I go to a spot where its exactly the same water surrounds 3 sides and on the 4th side i got a big old War Fort from the civil war on the west side . if the wind is blowing from the south or North i just go down wind a bit and it helps. the wind gets a little cleaner. dunno if that makes sense to anyone. LOL works for me. :karate:

I fly inland in gusty winds all the time and have found that nasa wings work great. Other people flying foils are having a hard time when I can keep moving in the buggy.
