Don't like the forum's default theme? Help us choose a new one. Vote on your favorite currently installed theme. If your vote is 'none', give suggestions for a new one.

To switch through the theme choices, go to the Control Panel/Edit Profile page and change the 'Theme' setting. Pick a favorite and then come vote.

Note: Some themes are not mentioned in the poll. These are for specified forum categories and should not set as the default.

I really liked "Metal" before the crossover. I see it isn't available now. I do cad work all the time with a black background. I find it is the most comfortable on my eyes. The midnight is almost there but I like a black background the best with the high contrast colors to compliment it.

I'm the opposite. Whites best for me, though black does save electricity..http://www.blackle.com/

I think Sky is a really clean, well done theme. My choice, from a designer aspect. Love it..but I think a new logo will do wonders for design.

I have been using midnight since I joined it seems to be easier to read. I freaked out when it was gone.

My vote is for aspect- although I am sad to see my old theme (hot?) gone.

About Aspect: is it possible to make the links blue, cause right now, they are black so its harder to distinguish them from reg. text.

Oh yeah i just tried aspect, much better theme i vote for that one too (i voted for midnight...) need to fix a few things on it but it's under development so that's cool

I like the metal also. Aspect is very clean looking but its I am not use to it.

I like metal, but I don't like the fact that attachments don't stand out. They just blend into the text.

Themes like Metal will still be available but are not suitable as the default theme (seen by all guests and members before logging in) - that's why it's not included in the poll. Please vote based on which theme you think best suits a kite forum as its main theme. Thanks for all the input.

Did you just add Perspective and Corporate? Out of those two, I'd choose Perspective, but I'd still go with Aspect overall.

Yes, we added 2 themes and removed midnight from the poll. Midnight will still be available, but is too dark to be considered as a default.

The poll values are now set and one of these will be the new main overall default theme.

I agree Sky is the cleanest, and all elements are easily readable.

Sky is nice as a default. I liked Aspect as well but Sky is a touch nicer with some extra contrast. I'll be switching mine to metal again.

Man, turning metal back on was like air conditioning for my eyes.

I'm totally with aspect now it's getting cleaned up and finished...
looks very clean, only thing i would change is the form element background color so there's a bit more contrast...
