Galveston
Some of us are getting together this weekend Oct. 6&7 in Galveston and going to play at san luis pass. It will mostly be buggy people but there
is plenty of room to fly single lines, ride atb's or kite board so come and join us.

Was down there last Sunday---beach not to crowded.
Guess we had just missed Tapper123 by 30 mins. Still have not met up with any Texas buggiers (or LA.). Winds were a perfect SE
10 to 15 mph. Hit 24.7 mph , my best , with a 5.5 bullet. Also flew 4.0 buster with great runs----beach was in good shape--clean as I have seen it in
a while. Was just wondering ??? Is East beach an option for winds other than SE ?? SE you can get down and back
with no problem----side winds are a pain..
***East beach seems to offer larger area for any wind direction****Anyway hoping to get down there this week end
sometime.

Susan,
I'm planning on being at San Luis Pass Sunday afternoon from about 2 o'clock on--looking to try out the Pass the Pansh 5.0m Ace that I just got from
Khooke!
Hope to get to meet you this weekend. Oh and hey, are you bringing any of your NPWs? I'd love to get to try one. :D
Cheers!

Woo Hooo!
Buggy's, Mountainboards, Kiteboards, single lines, and it's the perfect time of the year to catch redfish and camp out.
Life is good...
Was trying to finish up a single line kite last night... hate it when I do something stoooopid like have one of three panels oriented wrong... but
hey, it was only a 4 meter seam I had to pick the stitches out of
Then it will be time to make some tails and get back to work on another race foil...
hehehhe... it's tough being disorganized sometimes

Hey Scott and Treble
If you can get there any earlyer you have a better chance of meeting some of the people from out of town. The ones with a longer drive tend to
leave early in the day.
And yes I will have my nasa wings.
East beach is a great place to buggy too. It is off limits during the summer but now that it is off season that is another option for us. If the
winds are onshore then we can make just a 2 mile run down the beach before turning back. With east beach being so wide you can buggy in any wind
direction.

So as the weekend approaches, where do you folks think you'll be on Sunday? East Beach or San Luis Pass?
I'll try to check the PKF before heading down there in case there are some last minute posts.

SLP will be home to Buggy Town starting today... I'm hoping to be able to get down there before the sun sets... and be there until sometime early
sunday afternoon.
Hoping the new set of lines will show up in the mail today so I don't have to swap them from another kite... Linda says she's ready to try out her
buggy

Tried East Beach on Sunday afternoon. Wow, the wind was howling and rain showers were coming and going! I don't have a wind meter, but my guess is
it was close to 20 mph gusting another 5. The beach was saturated with standing water from rain or high tide. I threw up the 2.5m ProFoil on short
lines and was tossed to and fro. One gust ripped the handles out of my hands.
To be honest I was bummed. After weeks of not flying, I wasn't able to (a) try the Pansh 5.0m I got through the Pash the Pansh program or (b) try my
new-used (and first) buggy.
Oh well, always a next time.
Did anyone else venture to fly Galveston Sunday? How were the conditions on Saturday?

The waterspout down by the pass sunday morning was a neat sight. Glad it stayed offshore though. SHooting stars saturday night, a water spout
sunday, intermittant wind and rain... and lots of great company. Will be nice when Dead Bird rolls around to do it again.
