Tucson, AZ
Hi,
I'm a brit who's just moved to Tucson, AZ to start graduate school. I was pretty big into kiting a couple of years ago, but haven't really been out
much recently. I was wondering if anyone knew where the best/most local locations would be for me to check out, and whether there is anyone else in
the area who flies. I still have a (dust covered) 3.5m razor that needs an airing, though I obviously couldn't bring my buggy with me. Thanks for any
help!

Welcome to the PKF, Stu! I'm pretty sure we have some Arizona and Las Vegas folks on here. Tucson anyone?
I found this on the boards...

...On the brighter side, maybe Arizona should start hosting an event. There is a HUGE dry lake about 75 minutes east of Tucson. Right off Interstate
10. Nothing but a tiny town called Willcox, AZ nearby. I have only been out there once. I think it is one of the largest dry lakes though, at
around 50 square miles...

And the followup post:
Maybe that's a start for you, although 120 km isn't exactly local for your afternoon fix.
