I was there in March of this year with kites, but no vehicles. I flew my smaller kites and sport kites at the park and it was great, but pretty
crowded, even in March.
I also flew on the south side of Oregon Inlet, on the ocean side, about 18 miles south of Jockeys Ridge. Awesome, huge stretch of beach, and quiet. I
prefer Long Beach Peninsula in Washington, but this was a mighty close 2nd. Nothing like the sustained coastal winds when you're from Gustsville,
Minnesota.
