I'm going to see my folks whilst they are on Holiday in the Lake District 'round Coniston/Windermere. Can anybody give any suggestions where I can get a kite up without incurring the wrath of the locals?

(Also I'd quite like to give my Dad an objective lesson as he thinks that because he weighs 220+lbs my kites won't move him...:P)
