Best French Beach for Landboarding
Ok...you guys sold me. I went out and plunked down about €400 and got a lot of entry level landboarding gear. I bought a helmet, pads for those bendy
parts, a 3.5m kite, bar and board.
I am planning my first trip to Le Crotoy as it is only about 1.25 hours from my home and it is where I first saw the sport. However, I imagine many of
you (English folks especially) may have perused the French shoreline and might have some suggestions of where to try.
Basically, I am open for any of the Coastline from Calais to Cherbourg. Dieppe is the closest beach at about 45 minutes. However, most of the beaches
in the area around that area are stones.
Quend-Plage seems like a good choice. I welcome any of your suggestions. Once I take my first day at the beach, I will post some pictures so you can
get first hand images of me biffing it.
Any ideas? Also, is there a particular time during the day that is typically the best? I know I need to see the tidal charts but I imagine there is a
good window that is safe for most beaches.
Thanks, Mike
