Recommandation for beginner

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum.

About ten years ago, I tried powerkiting a little while on vacation, and I really enjoyed it.

Recently, I started thinking about it again, and now I'd like to buy a kite so I can improve my skills.

I'm looking for some advice on choosing the right model and, more importantly, the right size.

I weigh 65 kg (143 lbs), and there usually isn't much wind where I live—I'd say it's often between 12 and 20 km/h (around 6.5–11 knots). However, I sometimes go to the beach where the wind can reach 30 km/h (about 16 knots).

My goal is to do static flying only (no mountainboarding, buggy, or anything like that). I just want to practice flying, learn tricks, and become a good pilot.

Jumping looks fun, but I'm not sure it's really recommended with my limited experience.

I'd also like a kite that will last me a long time and continue to suit me as I improve.

I've been looking at a few models:

Peter Lynn Hornet / Twister
Elliot Magma / Lava
Radsails Radbasic
HQ Beamer

As for the size, I'm thinking either 3 or 4 m². I think is that a 3 m² might be too small for the lighter winds where I live, while a 4 m² could be too powerful when I go to the beach.

I'm in France, so I'm not sure if used prices are the same as in your country, but my budget is around €200 for a second-hand kite.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations!
