Longest day 2023

A tradition for many years: riding on the longest day of the year till sunset. Only this year the winds were better in the morning..

I think you have my music playlist and I want it back!

Nice Summer solstice ride
It will be nice to revisit this video during the depths of winter.

Shame they were allowed to build those turbines right on the beach. A real environmental blight on the natural landscape.
The beach should be for all and not just an opportunity for get-rich-quick venture capitalists. Anyway, rant over. :)

And about those windmills...

Nice vid and a lovely beach except for the wind turbines. You and Tom are right about those things :(.
Maybe if they were like fans and made wind for us I would like them more:smilegrin:

Hey Tom, Maybe you could go over there and hotwire a couple of those things:D. Then you guys can kite on no wind days too:thumbup::thumbup:. I'm sure the owners won't like it but we could get some free wind out of it:lol::cool:.

No problem kteguru. I have over 20m of copper wire, a bunch of zip ties and some electrical tape.

We'll need a ton of power to spin'em up of course.
I know! My old mate Xi Jinping still owes me a favour. Maybe I'll call it in and get some of that tasty coal-fired amperage re-routed our way.
Just dial in your Beaufort using the dimmer switch and you're good to go. On-shore winds 365 here we come baby!
