Born Kites, other kites , gear :EURO SALE

Well, it's the Euro that is one sale - now down to nearly one dollar (1.01 as I type this). I recall when I bought my NS2 5.5 meter in 2014. The Euro was about 1.37. It made the Star one expensive kite. Even as recently as late 2020 it was over 1.22. So it seems now if you like Born kites, or some of the other brands are other kite good from Europe they are basically on sale. Plus, most prices are quote with VAT included so there is an additional 19% deduction because it doesn't apply to goods exported from Europe. Anyway, I'm not in the market for any new kites or buggies, whatever. As usual my market timing stinks.

BTW - the French Shop, Gong, has some pretty crazy deals on wings, wing foil boards and foils. Wings work on land with ATBs, skateboards, or even buggies. Too bad I don't need any of those either.......;)

That's what happens when you pretend to go green and don't invest in energy independence. The reality is that most European countries rely on Russia to supply their massive shortfall, and when Russia threatens to cut you off, confidence in the markets takes a big dip.
