SOLD: 18m Flysurfer Sonic 3
Up for sale is my 18m Flysurfer Sonic 3 kite.
Excellent condition - no damage or repairs. Outstanding depower/wide wind range and fast. Perfect for snow, buggy or on the water (Twintip &
foil).
Selling because I have a 15m and 21m Soul/too much overlap.
Kite comes with the inner Flysurfer stuff sack bag and backpack.
No bar or lines included, but could include large Flysurfer Control Bar & Lines for additional $275.
Only asking $1,400 shipped within the US. (sells new for $2,999).

In flight pic - winds were about 12 mph this day.
No problems staying upwind on the Flydoor Twintip.
The Sonic 3 is very stable for such a high aspect ratio kite!
This kite spot has about 4 miles of flat water to explore - but is pretty shallow at low tide...

Yes, I picked up a 21m Soul 1. Very impressed!
It's big & slow, but super stable and easy to fly in light winds. Paired with the Flydoor, it opens up a lot more days to ride

Yeah my 21m speed 3 is like turning a bus, but i (220lb) can ride in the waves in the low teens, which happen a lot here... im looking forward to
seeing if the soul is faster than the speed... the 15m soul i have is pretty sweet!

We should really start another thread on Souls! They are just awesome kites.
My 15m Soul 1 is my favorite so far. Only downside is the complex bridle (gets tangled easily/catches on stuff on beach during launch) and self
landing in tight spaces without a helper.

interesting... i had a similar exp with the 15m soul... got the bridle more tangled than any other FS i have... took 1.5 hours to get it unsorted...
usually you can just shake it out... maybe we just did the same wrong thing???
hope that doesnt turn into a regular affair!

For me, if I'm able to wind my lines up as far as possible on the bar (past the mixer) when packing up, I almost never have problem when setting up.
If the kite flops arounds and twists after landing and I pack up messy, I'm going to need to take some time to make sure no tangles before launching!
