Very trippy video in my opinion. At the end he indicates he is holding the camera. How is this done? It doesn't appear that he is holding a camera or a selfie type device. I do see some kind of small remote/gadget in his hand.

after watching again, I spotted the selfie stick in his shadow at the beginning while he is walking out to start.
