What interesting things do you see snowkiting?
I saw a couple of "firsts" this year. There is a pack of coyotes that regularly cross the small lake I kite on. It looks like one of them did not make
it before his buddies ate him. Only the spine left now but a few ribs were attached last week.
Last week was below -28C but this week is +6C. Looks like the ice shrank a bit as it warmed up and generated this 8inch gap..

well so far this winter not much as it just gets to a freeze and then a big rain and melt and then almost and then crap again - i did get a good 45
min session in a few weeks back and that's it!
A small lake i often go to also has coyotes - a few times have seen bones but a couple of years ago i could see something ahead in the snow and there
was a good 30 foot circle of hundreds of paw prints, tufts of fur scattered all round, lots of blood spatter and also a vertebrae with a little bit of
flesh still on it.
one year about 16 inch long bottom half of a deer leg pointing straight up out of the ice - i think it was hunters goofing around and stuck it in, but
it was there for a few weeks.
And years ago there was one fellow that had Russian girlfriends that was often taking promo photos for his product (Snowfer)...and I just happened to
have a camera too!
...and many other things for other stories

Numerous deer kills. Lots of dead fish. All kinds of amazing ice formations. Amazing weather and clouds. All kinds of stuff dropped by snowmobiles
and ice fishermen.

I've seen deer, foxes hunting, fish frozen, snowmobilers being idiots, ice fishermen leaving burnt crap everywhere and dogs having fun in the snow.

I watched a truck from the Department of Natural Resources drive up to a pressure ridge and go through. My wife wonders why I don't pay much attention
to their ice prognostications.
