Kite ski or Kite Skate? Let's try both!

Up North in NH still thick ice but not great surface. We got a tip From local Nordic Ski/Kite Wing shop and went to that area.

Snowmobiles on wet warm surface make a mess when things refreeze. . This was one of least tracked water bodies.

We made the best of it and had some fun. Don did skiis and then skates .I did just skates.

If the snowmobiles stayed off, there could be some great surfaces for skates...or skis.

FYI Randy...
Kite used by Don is a commercially made one. Flown almost off bridal w/ just 5 ft of fly line. I had longer 20 ft. fly line. I was using a custom made(colors choice, size) China import.

The Short lines allows close proximity to windblown snow on edges, and other advantages.:wee:
