Kite skiing across the street? Yes!

When you live on a pond. Little West of Boston. Still Winter and frozen bodies of water...but not for long. Both of us Single Skinning it...Peak 1 and NPW.

Like to have seen others videos of winter kiting. A real dearth of any such, so thought I'd post one.

Walden pond would be terrible. Its a a bowl and completely surrounded by trees. The winds would be horrible and bumpy almost all the time is my guess. Plus, its not that big. By the time you got up to speed you'd have to tack. Pretty, yes. Historic, you bet. Good for kiting related activities, me think not.

This is the 'other' Walden Pond I Kite Skied on. 10x nicer and nature filled than the famous one...and only 5 miles from the Kite buggy Mecca of Nahant Beach!

Looking good! Not much better than across the street. You can learn a lot short tacking and it's a much shorter walk home if the winds
give out...
