That was a great video. I too wonder where and how the camera was positioned and controlled?

Thanks!...and yes, one whole month. So glad its over.
Its actually over four months in the making, one month editing.
Never has a video cost me so much in time and expense.
Have a great time tomorrow!

Thanks! The beach is okay. The camera lens makes it look larger than it really is. When the tide goes out it leaves a river of water which divides the
beach in half along its length. One side is smooth and the other is lumpy and full of kitesurfing gear strewn about the place. I chose the latter. :D

Thanks! I have heard the music over and over a thousand times during the editing process that i can no longer hear it. I hope its not too long.

I initially titled the video Super Tracks - Kite Buggying with the GoPro Fusion 360 camera. If I had gone with that title then I think everybody's
expectations may have been a little higher. I guess I wanted to surprise you.

Thanks man!

 Awesome video mate!
That's quite a playground you have there! Amazing buggy as well! I have been trying to talk the wife into making a trip across the pond sometime. From
all the videos I have seen, there seems to be several wonderful beaches to buggy on.

Who thought just eliminating the 'arm' or selfie stick would make such a production difference.
Because of the two slightly off center lenses used in this camera to edit the mounting 'arm' out, it seem a wobble or (film speed micro
inconsistency?) occurs as a slight drawback.

Anyone else notice this effect?

Otherwise very good directing, editing and overall production. |

Thanks and yes, come on over. We have some great beaches and with the prevailing south-westerly winds blowing onshore to most of them. We have weather
here. xD
Wales and the west country is probably your best bet. I've not been myself but seen and heard great things. I'm stuck in the far south-east, so my
only real choice is Cambersands where this video was taken.
The lens makes it look larger than it really is but its okay for me.
France is only twenty miles or so across the water where you'll discover the Ivanpha sized Nirvana of Les Hemmes. Not sure if its spelt like that.

Thanks! If I've understood you correctly, the wobble and bounce was due to my first attempt at mounting the camera. I used a long thin solid steel rod
which bounced around a lot. Its very noticeable in some of the clips.
I later used a wide hollow tube that gave much smoother results. Trial and error I guess. Thanks again. |

That is a very impressive video, many totally mesmerezing views. Oooohh, the stability - and nicely cut too. What a great job, and kudos for sweet
driving as well. There's quite much to say and give some praise to, in that video and about the cam - but I will keep it to the one thing that really
made my jaw drop.
Approx between 5:20 and 5:55 is seriously cool, I've never seen this angle done so well. How the hell can the kite loop and the camera not ?

Please do tell. Or maybe you like to keep that little supertrick just to y'self (well done anyway!)

Thanks khaakon.

Before I explain, here's a fun fact, the kite-cam was my very first attempt at filming with the Fusion. After unboxing the new camera I secured it to
the kite. It worked brilliantly until I wanted to land.
Being a fairly heavy action camera, the kite rolled over onto its back and dragged itself over the wet sand and stones completely destroying the
irreplaceable lenses. So be careful if you want to try it yourself. Have a friend on standby to catch the kite.

My jaw dropped too when I first saw the footage. I was so impressed that I knew I had to buy another camera. I went hungry until the next payday.
Unfortunately the wind did not return for a further four months! Imagine my frustration knowing the potential of the camera and not being able to
film.
The kite roll footage was super easy with the GoPro Fusion Studio software. Its a free download that works with the Fusion camera to render your 360
footage. Keep in mind that this camera films in all directions at the same time. Then its easy to understand that you simply select your view point in
three dimensional space using the sliders Yaw, Pitch and Roll and all your footage will then pivot around that point. Very cool with amazing results.
Even more control is available with Adobe Premiere and their VR plug-in.

Wow, thankyou! I can't believe all the positive comments. |

I've been out of the loop for awhile but when I saw you had a video posted with several comments, I had to get serious and connect my wireless speaker
and grab a beer before starting the video. Absolutely incredible. Well done. I was blown away and couldn't fathom how it was filmed until I
gathered out of context from the thread. Nice one my friend. Keep up the good work. |
