Wow! Nice shots. Looks like such a beautiful place to spend time with great folks doing what we all love. Maybe the pics were playing tricks on me,
but it looked as if there were offshore winds. Was that so?

Windstruck, yes, off shore winds Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Michael went through. Lucky thing is, is that the hardpack is so far from any
buildings it's not too bad to deal with. Don't get me wrong, there was definitely some funk in the wind but nothing that wasn't handled by most of
those flying. Couple kites did go in the drink, all saved but 1, it was eventually sacrificed to the sea after many attempts to save it.

Thanks for posting the link Howard. Got my stoke on looking through the pics. Great looking group of folks! Setting speaks for itself!
It appeared from the first page of photos that there were offshore winds. Is that typical? Hope the winds were smooth. What is the proportion of
onshore vs offshore winds there?

Great pics Howard! Sorry I didn't get to meet Ines... will see you all in April though!
Windstruck - the wind was onshore when I was there during the week - those photos are from the weekend when it picked up a bit and went offshore (I
think Sunday it shut down completely). The sand is packed enough and wide enough to ride in just about any wind direction it seems. Wind was silk
coming off the water, I heard it was a bit bumpy when it switched offshore (as you would expect anywhere).

Thanks for posting these Howard. Ines does great work documenting the bashes. It's great to see so many people with a kite in their hands and a grin
on their face. Even though I missed the fall event, seeing these photos brought me there....
