Sorry for the true lack of updates, but when the winds blowing there just isn't time to get to posting.
The winds were onshore from Monday till late yesterday. Some guys putting in upwards of 75-100 and one over 100 miles a day. Yesterday we had our
first remnants of Tropical storm Michael hitting us, a little rain in the morning followed by yet another on shore session around 12 and most rode
till 5:30-6pm.
Today the winds are off shore winds, blowing 18 gusting to 25, making for some interesting, yet doable riding. Tomorrow looks to be very similar.
Overall it has been a fantastic week with a ton of pictures and video to come in the coming days and weeks. Two more days to go and I'm sure everyone
will be taking full advantage of the wind when we can.

Wow! Can't wait for the eventual download. So pumped you all had such
a positive week. Long live power kiting!!!
I went there with all these grand ideas of making an epic video, but when the wind is up, cameras are down... I only ran gopro one day as I was too
excited to get on the playa... :D

Thanks for the video Cheezy. I wish I was there to be one of the kites in the background. It looks like this was another awesome bash with great
winds. Long live WBB!!!
Windstruck, Cheezy is dead on about the conditions for the weeks festivities. From Monday through Wednesday there were 8-10 of us enjoying a SSE wind,
which is a little less than on shore, making for incredible long runs and fast runs at times as well. We had a guy that put nearly 275 miles down in
three days, 110 miles one day alone going the entire 7mile stretch of beach time after time for hours.
As the video shows, we were yet again very fortunate with a very wide hard pack, providing 4 wide riding at time and once I counted 5 buggy's going
past the same spot at a time, 3 one way and two the other, we call that threading the needle at WBB.
I myself only rode M-W in light winds and very cautiously due to still recovering from abdominal surgery. I can't wait till the spring where I can go
all in again.
I always say, if you haven't been to WBB, make your plans now, you won't regret it, as Chicagkitejumping and many many others have found out. This
trip, 35-40 buggy's by Friday, a little down from the spring but fun as hell.
