Buggy Hauling

I see a lot of people with racks that fit into a hitch receiver. Where can I purchase one? If they are not readily available, what would be a good alternative for a large buggy to transport without breaking it down for every haul?

Thanks in advance!!!

The great thing about the XR+ is that it fits in the back of a Mazda3.

Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

I recently built mine.

[img][/img]

Mine is essentially (2) 1-1/4" hidden receiver hitches. They mount vertically from behind the bumper and are not seen when the rack is removed. From there two "U" shaped extensions come down back and up. Then to a cross bar connecting the two. On this bar are lighting truss brackets sized for the axle diameter, simular to these...

https://www.amazon.com/ADJ-Products-MINI-360-AROUND/dp/B006E...

Then a separate vertical receiver hitch going up for my vertical support to the front of the buggy.

Loading or unloading takes 4.5 minutes. The buggy rolls up backwards with the vertical support removed and the axle clamps open. Rest the axle into the clamps, close but do not tighten the clamps. Rotate the buggy up to vertical, insert vertical support and secure the front of the buggy. Tighten axle clamps. To further secure the buggy I strap the front of the buggy to my roof rack at the front.

This has so far been very stable over bumps in the road and beach accesses.

There is another cool feature that I will describe when I have pictures also..

I will post more pictures later, currently I'm out of the area.
