What issues do people have with their boards

Hello all
As part of my dissertation I am looking at improving the design or structure of a landboard, and was wondering if there are any issues that people have with their board? Such as exessive vibrations, bending, too heavy
Thank You, any help is appreciated.

I'd say weight(too heavy) for sure. The price. $50 instead of $400 for example. How about a fiberglass board?

I am a newbie on the landboard and have not had a great deal of success, but if you are looking for design ideas then you may want to consider the tires.
I purchased a used board (see For Sale post 7-19-2017 Almost New MBS Core 94 With Large Tires). The previous owner replaced the T3 tires (2 in wide, 8 in diameter) with 4.10/3.50-4 tires (3.5 in wide, 10 in diameter). This gives a little more ground clearance and substantially increases the footprint and contact area. I have not yet attempted to put the original T3 tires back on, so I can not give you a comparison. The previous owner felt the larger tires made for a more stable ride. The downside may be an increase in rolling friction and loss of turning response.
