First day is a wrap!
Ok so I found out that posting is not working from my IPhone 7 since I did the IOS 11.2 update. So now I am trying again
The day started off with crazy wind blowing 25+gusting to about 50mph. Rain then moved in right around 1pm for about a half hour. Most of us went and
got groceries,, beer, you know the drill. We got back and the wind gust calmed down, the Rain stopped and the steady wind speeds of around 25 mph
stuck around. Bring out the buggies!
I myself flew my 9m phantom and posted a new Personal best of 52.9 mph on my third pass. My first two passes were all personal best, 52.5 and 52.6mph.
Everyone else had a great time as well and some good speed runs were had for about 2 1/2 hours before we packed it down and headed off for dinner
The rest of the week looks to be pretty good with tomorrow being a little lighter and then winds increasing for a couple days. If you aren't here, get
here, if you've never been, start planning for next year, it's always a blast! A small video clip of one of my passes is up on our wildwood buggy
bash FB page and picture of my gps is also there. GPS zeroing and speed verified for any concerns. Hoping to post a better speed before the weeks
out.

While the early part of the day was a little slower paced and the wind direction wasn't very favorable, several guys logged many miles in their
buggies at the end of the first low tide. Later in the after, the winds shifted and the hard pack showed itself again. That's when the fun really
began. Some really nice buggying was had for about 3 hours or so and the speeds were very nice.
Today its rating early this morning just a bit, but it looks to be leaving before too long. The wind is blistering coming in just off the after but
more straight down the beach. Hoping for a little wind direction change so we can get some!
