| LEI people @ SOBB ?

Will there be anybody at SOBB with some knowledge of older LEI kites? We acquired a few large ones(for very cheap), before I knew any better, and I'd like to know if the safety's and flight characteristics will be safe
enough for my son Joey to use in the future
I think one is an older Vegas
 One is a Slingshot Turbo(Diesel?) 2 maybe 2007
One is a Liquid Force Assault about the same vintage?
Not sure if I'll bring them, space in the truck will be at a premium.
 Thanks,
 colin

Collin, it sounds like we have a simular scenario. I picked up a couple of kites but only one bar. Never have flown them.
Last year Sean briefly instructed me on how to fly one of eli's LEI's. Static only, i didn't try it with a buggy.

If there is some magical space in my car i might bring mine....

[Edit: I better go to bed....my bleary eyes didn't even see the date of these posts.....I've been away a while, can you tell? hahah ]
You'll have good luck with the T2 if they share any genetics with the T3s. Pretty easy to manage. If you can get it sitting at the edge of the window
on it's wingtip it'll sit there all day for you until you tell it otherwise. Don't know anything about the others.

If the bar is the same as mine it's a pretty clean safety setup. Just be careful with the chicken loop release if there is one. I accidentally grabbed
the wrong release once and had a good 45 minute drift after that. I felt it click and knew I couldn't set it so had to just let it go. The kite was
already flagged out at the time luckily.
