Pacific Beach Wa.

I'll be hangin out at Pacific Beach, Wa. April 24th-28th. Would be cool to share some of the beach with other like minded individuals. Yes, it is mid week. When you can, why not.

Long days, very low tides mornings & afternoons, mid-spring it'll probably be windy, mid-week chances you'll have the beach to yourself; liking the way your mind is working. I've got to see if I can get some time away from working...

Love that

Well, I can, so why not?
We'll be at SLURP in Olympia then I can make it
second half of the week after I recover..

What are the options for accommodations?
Suggestions for camping or parks for small travel trailer?

Wind_dog, Pacific Beach State Park is ideal. It is right on the beach, no need to travel. But reserve early it does fill up.

Gotta head up to Tacoma. Think about bringing my gear if y'all are still going to be there? Maybe I can come play with y'all?

I plan to be there Wed through Friday.
State Park campsite 38 if you don't see us on the beach.

Looks like mostly west winds 10 to 25 mph,
low tides early morning (zzzz) and late afternoon :)
Should be less rain later in the week.

Thanks for letting me hangout Evan. Was nice to see a fellow buggier. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. About 1500 I decided to head out. Rick, sorry I didn't get to see you. Hopefully I'll see you at SOBB.

P.S. Evan, After Monday's events. I went to visit BigKid. Added a 3.5m Century to the quiver. So hopefully no more gap.

Blitz didn't miss anything by leaving early. Winds stayed SSE all day and rain continued all day. However, woke up to westerlys went out before breakfast. Sunny currently and heading back out again after my coffee and wifi fix.

Thanks to Evans for the meet up invite to a new place.

I made it to Pacific Beach late Wed and headed out on an empty
beach to catch some some gusty squall lines in my Blokart giving
my dog Lucy a well deserved run. She is so fast and loves to race
along when I am sailing.

Thursday morning greeted us with sun and a sweet smooth NW wind.
After the razor clammers finished, we had a great midday kite session.
6m kites did the job until the tide reclaiimed the beach.

By the time the tide rolled out late Thursday afternoon, the wind had
picked up to 20++. Evans had a 3.3 FB and I had another
fast Blokart session. with both of us beating up the beach then screaming
reaches back down. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Pacific Beach State Park has camping right on the beach, just roll
your buggy out and take off. Big flat expansive beach when tide is out.
Pretty wet this time of year, but rain gear and googles kept it fun. :)
