I got tired of keeping up with the WBB web site because no one seems to reference it or care.
I begged Rich for years to email me all the information about each upcoming event. Never happens.
I have put posts on the PKF asking all that attend WBB to send me the links to their photos and Vids so I could compile a library. The only person
that has ever done that is our friend Chris from HQ.
My reason for creating the WBB web site is so people have one place to go for all the info on WBB. It is so hard to find all the info sorting though
the many posts on PKF . It's impossible for a new bugger to get an overall view of what's going on.
If someone would like to take over the web site please let me know. If you would like me to continue I need some help from you guys.

As of this year.... When was the WBB started? Will this year be # 12 or 15 or ???
And what is the name of the beach that you all use?
What's the name of the town it's in?
Are there any sponsors? Like the motel or HQ, Big Kid(?) or ???
Working on short notice here tryin to whip up sumpin.
Who would I send a design concept to for proofing?

Not to start a pissing match or anything, but I tried countless times to get info in and out through the email system and couldn't access it. I have
also tried to get a WBB domain, they are all taken. I would gladly take over or purchase the domain rights to anything WBB so that I could update when
needed. Now that WBB has its own special section under events here on PKF it is rather easy to find info when needed.
As for sponsors, there aren't any currently. Just sanctioned by NAPKA for insurance purposes.
I am trying to get you the info on the year it started. The beach is Wildwood Crest, located in Wildwood Crest NJ.
As we spoke on the phone Cheeks, send the info to me at the email address I provided.
Thanks

Rich, I will get with you at the Bash and we can get the WBB domain transferred to you.
For the WBB history info I would talk with Glen. I'm not real sure about my dates but I remember attending the Wildwood Kite Festival around 1997 and
the New Jersey Buggy Club would get a gathering of Buggers together for a couple day of fun. That to me was the first Wildwood Buggy Bashes. After a
couple years the Festival Organizers said we could not buggy till after 5:30. What are the chances of getting good weather, late day winds, and a
usable piece of low tide to all come together. A couple years later it seem like only Dod, Glen, a few people, and I came. Then it disappeared. In
2008 Brian Lee revived it. He searched me out and ask for help. Here's a Vid, https://vimeo.com/11643644. I think Brian and I put together the WBB in 2009, and 2010. Then Brian found a nice lady that just happened to be a
Kite Surfer and he was gone. I organized it for a couple years. Then this ball of Powerkite enthusiasm (Todd) came along and offered to help. That was
good because I was getting tired and really just wanted to buggy. Todd took over the WBB a year or two later and I have to say really tuned it in.
Todd eventually trucked of and Rich stepped up to the task at hand.
For sponsors we should give the Shalimar a free one.

hey rich and don
the year was 1994 and a few us die hard buggiers would meet up at wildwood about once a month after labor day.
even right thur the winter it was strange to buggy with snow on the sand i was lucky to get 5 or 6 of us back then.
no hotel to stay at. no problem we slept in our cars. all the guys i buggied with back then moved on to other things.
boat sailing. married with kids, you get the idea. i was about the only one who stuck with it all these years

Glen, I got an email today from Fran, he recalls 1993 as the first one, he says in 1994 it was the aka convention was in the fall and that the Buggy
Bonanza was held prior to that with Peter Lynn in attendance kite bugging, and kite boating with you guys and several others from Europe.
Cool part is he actually sent me a picture of the shirt that was made for that year, pretty cool

I knew I had seen a thread discussing the early years of WW and i just posted a pic on the T-shirt thread of my shirt from '94 . I see you had covered
it on this thread Rich and Glen and even mentioned the t-shirt - my pic is posted on the other discussion about shirts for this year.
hmm I may even have video from 94 somewhere.

I'm at about 1:05 going away from camera with green axle bag on red wheeled buggy. Kelci was behind the camera.
Corey was the one with the pig helmet cover.
The horn looking handles were actually hand carved wood handles. I forget who made those.
