What are the available hours? Could we fly at Wildwood until 2 and then head to the field?
I'd hate to loose out on a low tide situation.
Go ahead... tell me to "go fly a kite!" Please!

Whatever day we pick I know I'll be there all day and then be at wildwood the rest of the week so I would say just pick a day that works and we'll see
where the vote ends up. Looking forward to riding with you hiaguy |

crickets:dunno: Its going to be a small group at this rate . Since I haven't
been around in several years I'm wondering if the group at wildwood has more novice riders that are concerned about riding on pavement so that's
holding them back? Or perhaps it's just the bad economy that keeps people away? Any thoughts here? Maybe more will chime in tomorrow. |

I'm sure more will chime in. It's crickets on the FB page as well. Time to get the chatter up some more I guess.
As far as skill level, it's still a mixed bag but plenty have more than enough skill to handle Bader field.

Our WBB numbers should be around 30-40 with most usually coming in by Wednesday. I will keep pounding the pages and try and get some more interest
stirred up.

I'm sorry for the slight topic drift... Is pavement a harder surface to ride than sand/beach? SO seems like it'd be the opposite to me, then again
I've never had the chance to get to the beach yet. My normal is pavement, dirt parking lots, or grass fields (a few of which have pavement strips
running through them). Just saw the talk of novices and fear of pavement, and it spiked my curiosity. NAPKA US314 (Pi)

Not having riden on pavement before but having seen many videos of pavement riding, the traction level has to be much higher. On the beach you can
easily scrub speed by sliding out, I'm thinking not so easy on pavement.
Can't wait to give it a try though, I'm sure it's going to be wicked fast!

Abkayak brings up a great point about wind direction. The runways work no matter what we get so as long as there is some wind we should be good.
