ascending buggy
Today a few factors came together to complete a vision that until today had only resided in my head. Climbing a large snow sled hill at a park. A
few factors have to line up for this to happen. some flavor of North wind, few or no people on the hill, It needs to be late fall / winter due to the
trees bordering north edge of park blocking wind (leaves need to be gone), and when I have time to make it happen. Today, everything lined up except
a little snow left on the ground which slowed me down and wind was less than predicted. People were gone mostly, however, the people that were there
gathered at the top of the hill and were watching. I didn't mind the audience but they kept me from my ultimate goal which is riding the very top of
the hill. None the less, I will chalk this up as a success. I made 4 runs riding up and down before the wind completely died. I enjoyed climbing
the hill more than riding down and I can't wait to ride the entire length of the crest of the hill when conditions line up. some pictures of the
ascent.

Descending was great as well. Kind of felt weird and I was a little guarded at first, trying to pick the right angle to go down the hill to maximize
speed and still maintain line tension. That part was easier than I thought. I'm really looking forward to more hill practice on skis or buggy
depending on what our weather is going to do.
