Pretty high AR - check
zipper on the back - oops
no further sections' split in the trailing edge (short ribs) to get thinner profile there - oops
Misleading wind chart, where numbers/stars/scale don't match - oops. Usual shame. Either stupid or dishonest

Having history of making relatively heavy wings - hopefully it'll change
Having history of using wrong type of pulleys (getting stuck with sand) - hopefully it'll change
Having history of making great and simple bars - hopefully it'll stay
Paragliding industry is pretty strong already in designing great foils - won't be easy to compete, but great challenge!

"Elite"? What kind of material is this chart....

Hopefully it's not scam but just having graphic designer who didn't attend that school grade where kids learn to draw charts. One of those "everyone's special" kids for whom "graduation doesn't define a person" :)

Or maybe I missed a fine print saying "numbers and scale on the chart are for entertainment purposes only and do not reflect actual wind range capabilities of the kite".

What tool do you need to use to get even numbers on the scale drift further and further as numbers grow. Don't graphic designers happen to be perfectionists?

Liquid Force! Come on, really?

"More legit"? When were foils not legit?

They should have used hearts in the charts. :P

Legit yes, questioning if even more legit in the marketplace with more choices as our indicator, or have we reached overchoice ?

Those stars came with fine print above "Subject to change with weather conditions"

off topic but on the subject of "overchoice", have you tried to buy a light bulb lately?

first you have to determine type: cfl, fluorescent, halogen, hid, incandescent, led.

then type of light emitted: soft white, bright white, warm light, day light, natural light.

then your have to remember what you already have so you don't have different types of light emitted in close proximity.

remember the good old days when buying a light bulb was as easy as buying ketchup

1. LED unless otherwise a must. (My kids will be telling my grandkids how parents had coil in their lightbuls, kind of B/W TV story)
2. Warmer light ~2500K or so goes to kitchen if you don't want your meat shine in dead blue colors. Otherwise, I know many of our Indian colleagues prefer cold (~5000K) light, must be used to what they grown up with.

Kind of like LEI vs. foil choice really :)

of course! What if it's windy and stuff...no guarantee

And little poo icons for below lowest end range and little crosses for 1.5x top range

Jokes aside, LF delivers solid middle ground in very good quality and competition is good for us. Bring it on LF! And teach your graphic designer to draw charts :)

Looks like Slingshot is finally entering the fray as well:

Great to see all these different companies pushing foil designs. Can only mean goodness for the sport.

Wow, I count as many new players in the past 2 years introducing water use bridled foil kites as there have been in the past...

1999 Peter Lynn, S-Arc
2001 Flysurfer, Mastair
2004 ELF, Joker
2008 HQ, Neo
2012 Pansh, Aurora
2014 Ozone Chrono
2016 Liquid Force, Elite; F-One Diablo
2017 North, Ace; Peter Lynn, Aero, Slingshot, ???

Fast times, any predictions what/who's next :spin:
