I just recently moved to the Houston area from SPI and this is my first time attending this event. We will only be doing the pre-event this year. I've been riding a mountain board for the past 4 years now. Is there anything I should know for this event?

It's free and most of us don't bite.

San Luis Pass is a nice beach at the western tip of Galveston Island. Some like to go down 45 to 61st street and take a right, then a right at the seawall...then turn off right before the toll bridge...

Others take 288 then the 332 (surfside) exit and then a left at the last light by the beach, cross the 2$toll bridge and your there.

Actually it's "turn off left before the toll bridge" when coming from Galveston. :D
