Wind is up today. It's time for a shakedown cruise to check the gear out before heading up! I'll finally be buggying JIBE on some midi's; no more little barrows for me. My buggy is so heavy now :-)

BTW, soliver thanks for all the posts about tires, including sourcing, etc. I scoured amazon like yourself until I found a nice deal on a set of 3 for cheap $$.

Missed you last year, so hope to get to see you this year. Me and all my ladies will be around after Wed.

Low tides are supposed to be later in the day late in the week, so hope you get to make it out other than just the pregame show!

The wind Saturday was 5-10 onshore and supposed to be the same today. While there were a lot of beach goers,
kite beach was no problem. People leave early on Sundays and the wind picks up in the afternoon as the land heats up. We are in full Jekyll mode.

Ok, so this evening was phase 2 of packing the cars... loading up daily life's nonessentials so that tomorrow its just food, clothes and a few more things then we're off first thing Wednesday.

So I went ahead and loaded the buggies today and it was honestly very surreal to me. First off because it has been almost 6 months since I have loaded them on the car, and secondly
because there was a time 5 months back that I honestly thought I would never be doing that again... it felt kinda weird, but good. I am really SO excited... and so are all the girls
(as you can see from the photo above  )

Had a lot of fun. I"m glad we stayed Monday night instaed of bugging out on Monday mid morning. The wind really picked up and had some of the best runs I've ever had. Even made it to driftwood beach (Dystopia Beach as I call it).
