It was nice hanging out, riding and exchanging stories. The few days you were there had the biggest variance in weather and wind conditions so I'm
really glad you got some riding in.
I would usually use thinner and shorter lines to deadman do a with arcs but it was worth having a go at it - doing them backwards with the small 6.5
arc earlier in the week was even more fun and no pensioners were injured during any attempts.
It was only our second visit to Jekyll for Fiona and I and it's a fantastic place to stay and explore the island and region and the crew that show up
to kite are laid back and a load of fun.
If you can swing it again in the future, post a message and there might be a chance to book in with a number of kiters and families staying side by
side and makes for nice evenings on the deck overlooking the beach.
I'll be heading over to Scotland in the fall and we might head down to visit Fiona's brother near London - who knows maybe we'll tour around and stop
by Hoy.
