DBBB Who's Coming? When?
This year the hype and forum discussion about DBBB has been very low compared to recent years.:puzzled:
Is everyone losing interest or has the new wore off buggying for many of you:?:
Anyway, who's coming and when:?:
Ya, I know I can go look at the rider registration list at the DBBB website, but I'm hoping to create some talk/hype about this year's DBBB

I've never been to one of these (or seen a buggy in action), but will be there with my mountainboard and kiteboard... Plus it gives us a great excuse
as to why we can't go to the in/out laws houses... :singing:

I have a dumb question.. Ok have a UGLY home built buggy i have been riding now for 3 1/2 years. I love the ugly thing, but are there any reg's for
entering a comp on a home build. I really don't care about be mocked for it . I just want to come down and have a good time and race. My kart is very
stable and fun. i have been just over 52mph is my top speed and it handled great.
I am the only person in 120 mile range of my home that has a traction kart. :sniff:
I love the sport but it would be fun to ride with others.
All blade kites
2.6 3.3 4.9 6
I get most my time on my 3.3 or 2.6 wind blows hard here. Got my 4.9 out for first time in 5 months yesterday.

I live in the panhandle of Texas Amarilo.
I fly on a location with a reach just just under a mile.. with NO trees or poles just hard pack ground.
The wind blows here most days.
It is rare not to have 10-20 wind most days
15-25 or up.. From early fall to late string.. I dont fly much in july and aug. its just too hot.
I just got off of a 2.0m (blade) day on thursday. wind was 28-35 and gust in the 50's. What a rush a 2.0 a complete hand-full and im just over 200lb.
too bad im the only one here that flys.
god bless bob.

I will be here and will make some wild game chili if we have any cool weather.
Gonna have plenty of Blokarts this year and should have some of the newer model kites to demo for Ozone and Libre.

I was really hoping to be able to hang out for the week, but time won't allow it. As it turns out though, I just might be able to swing by for part of
a day/night.
My girlfriends family lives in Texas, and I've been wrangled into driving down with her for the first part of the trip, and flying back solo. Our
travel route will take us through Houston, and I might see if we could swing by for a quick play We'll see, she's not into the kite thing and is all about getting to Austin to visit her Fam.
The DBBB site says that camping is allowed, are there designated areas? We might get there in the afternoon and leave the next afternoon camping the
night in a tent, if that's possible there.
If we where able to, we'd get there in the afternoon on the 16th and leave on the 17th, this is kind of pre-pre-event, would anyone be around? Any
reason we wouldn't be able to fly if nobody was around?

As of right now I do not know of anyone being there that early but there is a possibility you might run into someone on the beach on Friday. Just a
note the pre-event takes place at San Louis Pass which is on the west end of the island. On Monday we will be at east beach for the rest of the week.
Camping is not allowed out at the pass but you can fish all night. We have camped for many years and not had a problem. If I do not see you on the
beach I hope to see you on the dry lake in 07.
