beware the Jekyll land mines

friday afternoon I took Fiona for a tandem ride up the beach. I warned here about some wet sand areas mid beach that could throw up clumps on here from my front wheels. As I was looking back and picking up speed I turned to see a fresh pile of dog poo a couple of feet straight ahead and nailed it and saw a poo explosion off my wheel. I did a quick check to make sure it didn't get her in the face and waited until the drive home before telling her.

As we started our tour Angus yelled "tandem suicide jibe" I was all ready to give it a go and had enough speed coming into pit area. Too bad I had the waterproof back on the camera otherwise the video with Fiona yelling "no, no, don't do it, please don't, no don't" would have been good and then throw the kite into a fast downloop .....but, darn I gave in, slowed down and did a nice little upwind turn with the buggy instead and let her out.

The reason I now wear goggles. One bout of pink eye was more than enough.

Great shot by the way.

I could have sworn it was the other wheel as I saw it explode out of the corner of my eye while facing the kite. I gotta slowly scroll through the GoPro footage and see if I hit two piles on that run. I love dogs, love dogs having a good time on the beach but don't like owners that don't tidy up in places like this.

Mark worst part of the land mine was i saw the dog drop it and stopped and explaned to the owner that there are doggy bags at the end of the walkway (50 feet from the pile). She was nice and said she was going to get one and pick it up- guess she got distracted

This is too funny!

It's MarS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s fault the Poop seems to have been flying at Jibe. Who would have guessed what that started ! :spin:
