I'm going to college in the area and I don't think I would last a year without flying. I know there are a lot of buggies out there but has anyone had any luck flying?

I'm about an hour away - it's hillier up that way. Maybe there's some open fields that the farmers will let you ride on IF you have a non-gas/electric plow or threasher attached.

Actually, if it's anything like my area to the south, the winds are typically boring, shifty or terrifying (sometime all three in a five minute timeframe!)
