As things go from bad to worse, No Quincy Kite Festival this year.
I was told that one of my "I would love to help with that" helpers dropped the ball and didnt get a key item taken care of. With no time left to pull
the rabbit out of my hat, I have said "no" to the event this year.
It fascinates me as to the words people use when talking about helping out. Not sure what the reason is but why would someone tell you they want to do
something to help when they really have no intention to do anything. Come hell or high water, if I say I will do something, I will do it. Has the
younger generation lost this part of there brain? I admit I have a reason why I forget things but when asked why they didnt do it, they reply back
that "I didnt feel like it, so I figured someone else would do it"
I guess next time it will involve a contract and one of their legs.
Dont say you are going to and then dont, drives me crazy.
Enough venting for now, got to finish the truck so I can do what I said I would do, Go to WW and Jibe.:saint:
