Just wanted to let everyone know one of our own was severely injured today. Josh (heliboy50) was out riding on the Alvord dry lake bed earlier today
and had an ugly OBE. Pelvis broken in 5 places and internal bleeding. Flown to Portland Oregon from Burns. No known head or neck injury. Keep him
and CeCe in your thoughts. www.napka.org

I've been chatting with Josh. Though his condition is serious, he is in good spirits and has not lost his sense of humor. His injuries were first
thought to be 5 fractures but now they say 3 with one being much worse than the others. First surgery is tomorrow.
Please keep him in your prayers!!

I guessed right. Josh was lofted with a Vapor and it took him up 10-15 feet. He thought he could stick the landing but got spun around while in the
air. He said he had some warnings to come in but didn't listen to any of the little voices. :smug: It still makes me a little sick to think of him
being hurt. Coastal Wind Sports Team Rider

Been keeping in contact with Josh via text. Keeping spirits high as before, sense of humor still good. I asked him if he's been getting any rest and
he responded "Unicorns..." so I assumed his pain had been eased...that was later confirmed The OBE was indeed a nasty one. Ill let him elaborate on that when he peeks in on PKF.

Ouch! Josh recently sold me his 3 Vipers he had- thought I only know him from this forum I do feel like one of my friends has been hurt. I went back
to my U2U from him and I and I quote
"I'm not selling because I don't like them, more that I have WAY too much redundancy and have come close enough to the performance limits that I want
a little more"

Guess you went a teenie bit too far to the other side! Heal fast and get back on that Horse.
