LEI users - a small caution

If you have zips on your LE to access the bladder, make sure it's tucked down and covered as much as it can be :( discovered I've poked a whole in my XB 13's canopy cos the zipper tab was sticking up

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Good tip. Not thought to check that.

Don't sweat it too much tho. I fly my kites with 6 inch holes in them and they work just fine. I don't usually repair them unless it get's much bigger or it's an LE tear.

I did my own professional LE repair last week to my XB 13. I'm thinking I might start a new side line in repairs.

I'm sorry but I have to LOL at that

I bought a 2011 XB 16 and discovered about 15 pin-holes in the canopy :( not happy but the kite still works fine. I've fixed them all TearAid but I'll check all my LEIs now.

Once the new job starts, I'm going to sell my Crossbows... cheap cos of the holes :(

If you leave your bar/lines connected, make sure chickenloop is in a good spot, have seen a kite come out of storage with a 2" tear that the chickenfinger(y'all may call it something else... :P ) had created in the canopy!

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

"professional..."

I do not think that word means what you think it means...
