I'm heading to Maitland (Orlando) FL at the end of April to first week of May for training. Was wondering the best or good beaches to fly at while I'm there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Although it's a little drive you can certainly kite and enjoy yourself at St. Augustine St Park. I would even be willing to come out and fly with you, but I'll be out of town that week :-(

Closer to Orlando, you could try stuff around cocoa beach:

Cherie Down Park (Cape Canaveral)
Manatee Park (Cape Canaveral)
Playlandia Beach
Cocoa Beach general access points
Melbourne's general beach access points

Cocoa beach area looks like a good option thanks. Are there any local rules that I should be aware of?
