Hi Guys
I have just returned to this wonderful sport after a two year break,i had also sold my two kites,Pansh Ace 4.5 and Pansh Flux 2.0,before this i had a
Blade 3m.
I have just brought two more kites off Ebay, looking forward to building up a decent quiver again! I made my mind up to get a good 'All Rounder',a
kite of good quality and went for an Ozone Flow 3m,as i hear they are excellent kites.
As the Flow was quite expensive and funds were getting a bit low i started looking at lower priced kites.I know Radsails are nowhere near the
quality of Ozone and i'm a believer in 'You only get what you pay for',but i thought sod it,go for it! I then, after looking at MANY reviews brought a
Radsail Pro 5m. I really wanted something with lift for recreational jumping,but i couldn't afford a 4'9 Blade,tried an Ace,and couldn't find a decent
priced Twister or Crossfire so went with the Rad Pro,hope i've done right????
ANY info/experience on these please Guys??? Hope they have some lift too...lol
Many Thanks.
Radsail is a quality brand that is popular in the UK and EU but has not tried very hard to capture any part of the US market. I have owned one of
their kites (EvoII - depower foil) and it was quite nice, absolutely no complaints!
The radsail pro will lift you for sure, but a 5m doesn't provide much float, so you may come down just as fast(or faster!) than you went up. Wear a
helmet when kiting!
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.
Hmmmm.... I always had the Radsails Pro pegged as a medium aspect, all-around kite and the Savage as the boost machine in the Radsails lineup.
Granted most kites can lift you in the right wind conditions... some are just more ugly about how they put you back down.
This is Andy Preston (the designer of the Savage) and a Radsails Team rider demoing the Evo (yellow canopy) and Savage (red canopy).
ATB,
Sam
