Prism Tensor Break Line Question
So im afraid to try this out myself because I dont want something stupid to happen lmao, but im 100% sure you guys can give me the answer im looking
for ha. When you have the kite in the standard packed mode on the power bar are the break lines the yellow lines actually needed or necessary to fly
in the power bar mode or can you detatch them?

In control bar mode, the yellow brake lines are used for the safety system and to execute a reverse launch.
Is it possible to flight without it? Sure... but you will deprive yourself of two fairly important functions.
FWIW: Anyone downwind of you would probably prefer that you make use of the wrist leash safety rather than an impromptu opportunity to "wear" your
kite. :wow:

Sam is correct as usual
why do you want to take them off? Is the kite not flying correctly?
You could always tie a knot on the outer leaders of the bar about 2 inches in from the factory knot and attach the lines there. This will in a sense
shorten the power lines and lengthen the brake lines. Make the brakes long enough and the kite will act like they are not there but you still have the
benefit of the safety.

The added advantage of reverse launching and landing the kite by pulling in on the middle lines is huge. Once you get it figured out and start to use
them, you will never want to fly without them again.
That and the mentioned safety system is huge. You will probably be wanting to sell your Rush after you see the many advantages of a 3 or 4 line
system.
