Interesting read. Done a little boogie boarding at Southwick park eastern lake Ontario. Some of that shoreline has no one around even at mid summer.

I wish wish wish I had been into kiting when I lived along the Great Lakes! I know several long stretches of beach I use to walk along and sail that
would have been epic for kiting. And the beaches are so pretty -- plus no tides or saltwater to worry about! I've not found out of the way beaches yet
in Florida, nor any real beaches left in a natural state that aren't filled with people. So dodging authorities and sunbathers seems to be the name of
the game for kiting now, rather than a leisurely session along some beautiful shoreline.

I'm putting a buggy together & hope to ride the shores of Lake Mich. early this coming spring before the people invade the shores.
