kite-skating on a pier close to a lighthouse with the nasastar!

last summer i had a smooth, almost meditative kite-skating session on a pier in my hometown rostock at the baltic sea. the kite is bought from born-kite.de - a small german kite company that makes a variant of nasawings.

the nasawing proved to be the perfect toy for this very tight spot ( circular asphalt place with 12 meter diameter). probably no other kite could handle such a situation. the nasawing is robust (no cells to burst), cheap (hence its not that bad if you abrase your riptstop coating on the asphalt), and flies perfectly stable on very short / no lines.

youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1k2Td_cElo&hd=1

the wind was so smooth - just wonderful. the wind was light - windspeed was maybe around 5 - 8 knots ( 10 - max 20 km/h)

the video was cut by born-kite.de .

in summary: this was one of the best street-kiting sessions i had. just one word: smooth !!

Played fine here (yes I had to click it :D ) but I think your PC may be shutting down out of a sense of utter horror over the sound track :ticking:

Played fine. Xp, Chrome and AVG.

What is it about "Don't click" that MAKES me click it?

because it seems to work now for more than 4 people withouzt issues, i removed the warning in my first post.

@skimtwashington: no offense, but maybe it was something else that caused the trouble ? sometimes, graphics cards get too hot with HD movies and suddenly shut down the system; maybe your adobe flash plugin is outdated; etc..

Schönes Ding! Ich dachte du würdest das Farhradfaher überholen.

Möchte mir auch eins holen. Für die Frau wäre es ideal zu lernen und ich könnte mal streetkiten im Großstadt.

I wonder how John got in so tight with Born kites?
